Spring and Summer CSA
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A flower CSA works the same way as popular vegetable CSAs.
In return for your investment, members receive a stunning arranged bouquets of premium, fresh flowers from our farm. When you join Maple Leaf Barn’s CSA, you’ll be getting blooms that have been grown in our flower fields where nurturing nature through biodiversity and sustainable practices is top priority. Our flowers are grown in Pleasant Plain, outside of Cincinnati, and they are usually picked the day before or same morning as delivery!
The are no refunds or exchanges on CSA shares.
How It Works
Place your order here for the share. Once we receive your order, we will then get in touch with you via email (before the start) to provide additional details.
Your Spring CSA share begins in April and depending on weather conditions will last through May. Summer shares start in July and go through September. As soon as they are ready, you will be notified via email.
We try to limit share availability to a percentage of our overall production and share holders get first dibs on every weeks deliveries, any left over flowers will be sold to the public.
The bouquet share is also a great choice for the local business looking to easily add color and a fresh distinctive touch to your sales or reception area. Great for dentist offices, coffee shops or other small business.
You can share your share! Since our flowers last so long, sometimes you don’t need a new batch every other week or you might be going on vacation. You can absolutely have us deliver to an alternative location that is within our delivery radius. Consider splitting it with a friend where you may alternate weeks.
If you are unable to accept a delivery, feel free to gift it to a friend or loved one. We cannot deliver unless there is someone at the location to accept delivery or consents to the bouquet being left on the porch in water provided by the client.
